A short acoustic preview of “71 Charger” was debuted during a short documentary on SVT about the Swedish singer’s sophomore release. A video for the final recording of the track was later teased on the singer’s personal Instagram account, with the single then dropping on 29th September, 2017.

The title is a reference to the 71 Dodge Charger, a car model debuted and rolled out by American brand Dodge in the early 70’s. The model was known for it’s “Hi-Impact” colours.
