Mistakes is the second single of Tove Styrke’s album Sway. She wrote the song with Elof Loelv and released it in September 15th, 2017.

In an interview, Styrke explains the meaning of the song:

I guess the main theme for me is, you know whe life is almost too smooth sometimes? When you feel like you got yourself almost too figured out? I think it’s nice sometimes to shake yourself a little bit, and surprise yourself, and just let go of that idea of who you think you are.
