This song was written by Ryan Lerman, who originally released it in a video featuring Ben Folds. Lerman is seen playing guitar in the recording session.

The song features Charles Jones, who collaborated with Vulfpeck in 2015 on the track “Game Winner” from Vulfpeck’s first full album Thrill of the Arts.
