Uzi enlists Nicki Minaj for the remix of “The Way Life Goes.” Uzi keeps his original verses while Nicki adds an additional verse about her elite rap status.

The collaboration first came into works on August 29, 2017, four days after the release of Uzi’s debut album, Luv Is Rage 2. Nicki asked him via Instagram to send her “The Way Life Goes” beat so that she could make a remix to it.

It was apparently due for an earlier release but was delayed due to unknown reasons.
