“Happy Place” is the first single from Alison Wonderland’s second album Awake. The song was written when Alison was in a really dark place in her life. She attempts to find her ‘happy place’, where she can feel good and be free from the bad thoughts she had.

Happy Place was produced by Alison, QUIX and frequent collaborator Lido. ‘Royals’ Songwriter and producer Joel Little serves as a co-writer and recording engineer for the song. Happy Place marks the first official collaboration between the two.

The top line from this track: ‘Fuck me up on a spiritual level’ has served as Wonderland’s mantra, and has been featured some of her merch items. She has repeatedly cited the term on Twitter.

The song was released on November 10th, a day after it was uploaded by Trap City to their YouTube channel.
