“100 Years” is an unreleased single from Pharrell Williams, with partnership with the brand Louis XIII, that won’t see the light of day until the year 2117, making this song officially the final Pharrell Williams song to be released.

The song’s title is related to Louis XIII’s upcoming film of the same name, directed by Robert Rodriguez, in which the context behind it is that it won’t be released for the next 100 years.

The track was first showcased in Shanghi, when it was reported that over 100 global influencers went to the listening party to hear the unreleased song. It was only played one time before never being heard again.

A commercial for this song was released on December 12, 2017. In the commercial, we see Pharrell making the song and announces that the song will be released in 100 years if the people start to care about the planet. The only known snippet of the song was also played.

The only copy available for this song is a vinyl made of clay from the chalky soil of Cognac region. As of 2022, it is being stored in the cellars of Louis XIII in a state-of-the-art-safe that is only destructible when submerged in water. This also means that by any time given that if the only copy of the song is damaged or if global warming continues to happen, this song will forever be lost to time.
