“Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes” was released as a B-side to “Disposable Teens” on November 14, 2000. The single also included a cover of “Five to One”, a The Doors song.

The song was written for the MTV program “Celebrity Deathmatch” during the sessions for Antichrist Superstar, and was also feature on the show’s soundtrack CD. Manson was requested to create the song by MTV about the show, hence the satirical lyrics about western societies' obsession with violence.

The song also was included as a studio track appended to the end of the Last Tour on Earth live album in 1999.
