“Disconnected VIP” was the of the first of the VIP tracks that Monstercat released near the end of 2017. The original “Disconnected” released in May of 2012, which was five years and six months before the VIP released. The Nerds often played it at live shows as far back as early 2016 and teased it frequently on Twitter, despite it not being released at the time. This new edition of the song adds new vocals by Desirée Dawson, who worked with the Nerds on their track “Talk About It” which was released on their Nerds By Nature EP earlier in 2017.
