The battle took place at the infamous Black Star Music & Video store in Harlem, New York City, the same location as Loaded Lux vs Murda Mook. The battle is known for showcasing Loaded Lux in his now traditional grey hoodie. With witty punchlines, unique wordplay, entendres, and all around pure lyricism, Loaded Lux’s performance has been critically acclaimed amongst the battle rap and hip hop community, with many calling it one of his best performances to date and receiving the nickname “Grey Hoodie Lux”.

Since the battle, Loaded Lux rarely appears with his now legendary grey hoodie. He wore his grey hoodie in his critically acclaimed Funk Flex Freestyle in 2017. He later returned with grey hoodie in his classic 2on battle with fellow battle rapper Hollow Da Don vs Tay Roc and Chess in the 3rd round.
