Good Life (A Cappella Single Mix)

The Braxtons

“Good Life” was the first single released by The Braxtons. It was released on Arista Records.

The Braxtons group originally consisted of sisters Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Traci Braxton.

When the song wasn’t a hit, Arista Records CEO Clive Davis passed The Braxtons onto LaFace records, which was parented by Arista. This led to Toni Braxton signing to LaFace as a solo artist.

The Braxtons continued on as a trio with just Trina, Towanda And Tamar and singed to Atlantic Records. Atlantic would not take Traci Braxton as a member because she was pregnant with her son Kevin Jr.

In 1996, the trio released their album “So Many Ways”. It would be their only album as a trio. Tamar left the group for a solo recording contract with Dreamworks records and released “Tamar” in 2000. The Fivesome reunited to record “Braxton Family Christmas” in 2015.
