Littered with mathematic metaphors and terms, “Add Me In” finds Chris as the other guy in the equation, and trying to get his girl to realize that he would be a better fit for her than her current man. The track was previewed to Billboard ahead of its release, who described it as:
Another nod to Wonder and Cooke, the uptempo track has Brown drawing on math metaphors (“What’s the problem, girl?”) to attract the interest of a female. Danja produced; Brown, Roccstar and Bellinger handled the writing.
Chris described the track to MTV News as being “old-school with a new-age feel.” The song shares a similar vibe to his March 2013 single, “Fine China.”
