“Star Treatment” is the opener to the Arctic Monkeys' sixth studio album, co-produced by Alex Turner himself for the first time.

Turner personifies a washed up lead of the fictional band The Martini Police, and crafts a rich metaphor for how idolized celebrities are never seen except from a distance, similar to the light of a star. The track also uses introspection to pay homage to icons such as The Strokes and Leonard Cohen.
