“BLACK BALLOONS | 13LACK 13ALLOONZ” is the second track off of Denzel Curry’s third studio album, TA13OO. The track includes features from rapper GoldLink and R&B artist Twelve’Len.

Throughout the track, Denzel discusses tragic experiences and draws a variety of parallels between his own life and the movie It, as seen in the first verse of the song:

Taboo and I are in the same boat
What’s said from Pennywise, I guess we all float

In a March 2019 interview with Genius, Curry discussed the making of the song:

The original verse and the original beat … I liked the hook, but I didn’t like my verse and I didn’t like the original beat. […] I went back into the studio. It was like, ‘Hey. Yo. You should listen to the new version.’ I was like, ‘Okay. Lemme hear it.’ They played the new version, I was like, ‘Oh, alright.’
