‘Baby Girl’ is the fifth and final track on Mae Muller’s first EP, ‘After Hours’.

On 15th February 2018, DIY Mag chose the EP as their Neu Pick, describing the closing track as seeing the EP off in restrained, gorgeous fashion. Muller gave an exclusive track-by-track guide to each track on ‘After Hours’, giving the following commentary for ‘Baby Girl’:

“This song is pretty much what I needed to hear while I was growing up. I wanted girls to realise that so many women go through heart break, and toxic relationships, and that they’re not alone. It will hopefully allow the listener to realise their worth.”

The song has since been pulled from streaming platforms with no apparent explanation.
