One of the stand out tracks off of Alive!, “100,000 Years (Live)” is a magnificent example of Paul Stanley's peerless showmanship. After a lengthy drum solo from Peter Criss, Stanley launches into an engaging interrogation of his audience, asking them whether they like to party and get high, culminating in one of the most successful call-and-response segments in all of rock as the audience gets to their feet and screams “for what they believe in:” Rock n roll itself.

As on their debut LP, this song is followed by a performance of “Black Diamond,” another Peter Criss showcase.
