“Ghost Busters” is a collaborative track by Trippie Redd and XXXTENTACION that features Quavo and Ski Mask the Slump God. This is the first song released posthumously by X since his untimely and tragic murder on June 18, 2018, three days before this song was released.

Trippie first previewed a snippet of the song on Instagram on March 1, 2018. However, he was forced to take it down by X’s management.

When this song was originally uploaded to Trippie’s SoundCloud and WorldStarHipHop’s YouTube channel, Quavo was not featured. However, a few hours later, the SoundCloud audio was updated to include a verse from Quavo. It is unclear why this happened or when the verses were recorded.

Since its release, the song has been removed from Trippie’s SoundCloud page but is still available on WSHH. This was likely at the behest of X’s estate and EMPIRE Distribution.

A reworked version of the song, with a new title, instrumental, and only Trippie and X’s vocals, was released in August of 2021 as “Danny Phantom” for Trippie’s album, Trip at Knight.
