Sky released a few snippets of the song on her Instagram story on the 3rd March 2018, suggesting “Artificial Love” as the title of the track.

She later confirmed in 2019 that the title of the song was “All My Lovers Die” via Instagram stories.

In 2022 on the 11th of July, the song was performed live for the first time at the Primavera Sound Festival.
