This song starts out with New London-based artist, Wave Matthews singing melodically on the chorus. He sings about a complicated relationship with a toxic girl. Instead of staying in the relationship, Matthews threatens to leave “by the mornin'” with his new girl now his “baby is boring”…

It transitions into Rob Markman “sayin' bye to [his] ex-chick”. He explains how he is going to leave and take everything with him. She’s an ‘IG baddie’ that just wants to party and argue.

Matthews continues to harmonize his way out of this toxic relationship on the second chorus.

On the second verse, Rob talks about how the love doesn’t seem to be there. She seems materialistic and ungrateful. He ends the verse explaining exactly what he needs in a relationship, saying, “I’m Ace Boogie with the raw, I need a Regina Hall / Somebody I could chill wit, somebody I could build wit / Somebody I could deal with and maybe split the bill wit.”

Again, Wave hops on the chorus, transitioning into Rob’s Bridge. He explains how he’s not “tryna flex…” but at the same time her stress is unnecessary in his life. Wave ties it together once again to finish the song!

The perfect song if you just left your ex-chick!
