In the song “Virtual (Blue Balenciagas)”, YNW Melly raps about a detailed scene of a murder, his selection of firearms, and his unique style of wearing Blue Balenciagas leading to having a rival gang members blood on his shoes.

Balenciaga, is a high-end, luxury/designer brand originating from Spain. Melly wears Blue Balenciagas with blood on them to contrast the colors, mocking the Crip Gang members as it portrays the blood of a deceased member, this is done due to his affiliation with the rival Blood Gang which he has spoken about in songs such as “Adam Sandler”, Young Grizzley World", and “Bang Bang”.

The unique Trap beat was provided by EY3ZLOWBEATZ. It became one of his most successful tracks then being placed on YNW Melly’s debut mixtape, “I AM YOU” which was released on August 3, 2018.

The official music video was filmed by St. Petersburg native cameraman, DrewFilmedIt. It shows YNW Melly dancing with guns and performing robberies with his gang. In the music video, they are wearing masks similar to the nun masks from the 2010 heist movie called “The Town”. The idea of the music video was inspired by the film as there are very similar themes of crime between the movie and the music video.
