“Velvet Light” was produced, arranged, composed, and even mixed by Ogawa himself under his real name, Jakob Myklebust. Using somber yet warm synth chords behind his falsetto-like voice, he makes it seem effortless to craft an intoxicating lo-fi bedroom pop classic.
