First teased on April 7, 2018, Purpp posted a clip of the song with the caption “I FEEL LIKE @troubleman31 “24s” I NEED HIM ON THIS, @swaelee was good ?! SPAM THE COMMENTS WITH DROP!”. Later that day on his, Purpp would announce in a more formal way that Swae Lee would appear on the track.
