This song was released on July 8th, 2018, and was teased multiple times before its release on social media, following the rapid success of the free-to-play co-op sandbox survival game, Fortnite, that even made rappers and other celebrities play. This included Bans, Ski Mask, Yachty and Murda who commonly published photos and videos from the game as well.
The collaboration between the artists came as a result of Murda posting a video of the beat. This initiated Bans' participation and subsequently the involvement of Ski Mask and Yachty.
