“Watch” is a promotional single by Travis Scott released during the run-up to his album ASTROWORLD, released on August 3, 2018. It did not make the cut to the album.
The song was first teased by Kylie Jenner on her Snapchat on April 24, 2018. The following day, Kanye tweeted at Travis, telling him to drop the song. Travis then replied, confirming that the song was set to be released before the end of the week. Although this didn’t happen, the song finally released the following week.
The Pi'erre Bourne-produced beat originally appeared on K$upreme’s unreleased “Expensive Shit.” After the release of “Watch,” K$upreme took to Twitter to take shots at Pi'erre for giving him the beat, then later giving the same beat to Travis.
