“Light of Love” is a song originally set to feature on Florence + The Machine’s fourth studio album High As Hope. Lyrics of this song were first featured in Vincent Haycock’s Don’t Go Blindly Into The Dark, a book of Florence and Vincent’s 8-year collaboration together.

On 16th April 2020, Florence + the Machine announced the song would be released the following day, and that all income earned from the song would go towards intensive care units worldwide to help in the treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
