“bitches” is a lesbian anthem, inspired by Tove Lo’s bisexuality.

The song appears on Tove Lo’s third studio album, BLUE LIPS. A remix dropped on June 7th, 2018 featuring British singer Charli XCX, Finnish singer ALMA, rapper Elliphant and Icona Pop, the latter two artists hailing from Lo’s native Sweden.

While all five artists have not come together on one song before, Charli XCX wrote Icona Pop’s 2012 hit “I Love It”. Tove Lo also wrote several songs for the Swedish duo’s debut record, such as “We Got the World” and “Ready for the Weekend.” ALMA and Tove Lo is also featured on Charli XCX’s “Out of My Head.”
