A Toto cover version that was released digitally without advance notice on May 24, 2018, Weezer’s rendition of “Rosanna” was immediately deemed as the band trolling a late-2017 viral campaign by a Weezer fan urging the band to cover “Africa” from Toto IV, the same Toto album that contains “Rosanna”.
