“FEFE” features a different flow from 6ix9ine, who seems to stray from his usual aggressive rapping style to calmer and more melodic waters, like he did on his track “GOTTI.”

The CuBeatz and Murda Beatz produced single is one that 6ix9ine expects to be another consecutive hit single to land on the Billboard Hot 100, giving him a perfect record of eight for eight. 6ix9ine’s claim to be the “King of New York” now has him recruiting the “Queen of New York,” and some would argue hip-hop itself, Nicki Minaj.

Despite only having 5 days instead of the usual 7 days of stream/sale tracking, “FEFE” debuted at #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, giving 6ix9ine his first, and Nicki Minaj’s seventeenth Top 10 hit, extending her record for having the most Top 10 hits among female rappers.

On August 14, 2018, “FEFE” was added as a digital bonus track on Nicki Minaj’s fourth studio album, Queen. On November 27, 2018, “FEFE” was then included as the second track of 6ix9ine’s debut album, Dummy Boy.
