“Face Down” is an unreleased track by Kanye West, thought to have been conceived during sessions for his scrapped TurboGrafx16. This version features contributions from 070 Shake and Desiigner, and so has been dubbed the ‘G.O.O.D. Music version’ by fans – it’s thought that their contributions came out of the Cruel Winter sessions. The track has yet to see the light of day in full.

Three variants of the song were teased by Music Mafia in 2018, with the others being a solo version and a Quality Control version. This versions appears to utilise one of the hooks and verses from Kanye’s demo.

A snippet of a solo version of the track performed by 070 Shake surfaced online in 2020. It’s possible that she took the track from Kanye after he scrapped it, but didn’t end up using it herself.
