Paralyzed is the seventh track of Marshmello’s Joytime II album, published in 2018. The song (and music video) has a moral lesson behind heartbreaks or relationships. The song displays the sadness of Marshmello begging for his girlfriend to stay with her despite their fights and disagreements. The music video however has a lot more detail as to what Marshmello is trying to express via his song, the clip itself has a quote that explains what Marshmello tried to explain which is “Before putting time to others, you must give time and value to yourself”. The music is more targetted towards teen who is desperately looking for relationships without looking after themselves, mentally speaking.
