“Dangerous” is the penultimate track off Meek Mill’s fourth studio album, under the title Championships, released on the 30th of November, 2018.

Earlier that year, on the 6th of July, the artist released a short EP called Legends of the Summer, consisting of 4 new, original compositions from the Philadelphia native.

The release of the extended play happened just 73 days after the rapper was released from prison, and had to herald the commencement of work on the new full-length LP. One of the four songs on the short EP was “Dangerous” and is the only song from that project to be featured on the album.

On the 28th of November, the song became officially certified with gold status by RIAA, making it the first track off Championships to acquire both the first plaque and the gold status.
