On “History,” Brian reminisces about times he had with a former lover. He remembers bittersweet moments and recognizes that there is a deep history between them, all while struggling to let go of the past.

On the day of its release, a music video was uploaded to Brian’s YouTube channel featuring clips from several American TV shows and movies such as The Office and Shrek, as well as Japanese anime such as Naruto and Spirited Away. These clips mostly depict romantic scenes. Fans likened the video to an “AMV” edit (“anime music videos”) popular amongst internet fandoms.

On October 10th 2018, the official music video for “History” released on the 88rising YouTube channel and features Brian going to a formal party and seeing the girl he had a former love with.
