“Missing U” is a single by Swedish singer Robyn, released on August 1st, 2018. It is the singer’s first solo release since the culmination of her seventh studio album, Body Talk. A promotional video showing a New York fan gathering which Robyn attended, called Missing U – A Message to My Fans, was teased via social media and finally released on July 30th, prior to the song’s official release.

The song first appeared on music marketplace Juno Download ahead of the release, along with its cover and a two minute clip of the song. Robyn then began to hint at the song on Twitter and ultimately the song leaked online ahead of its intended release.

The leaked song was taken down, and, on July 27th, Robyn officially announced the release, along with a preview clip of the song and its video “Missing U – A message to my fans, that I´ve missed them.” The song was premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on August 1st, and the lyric video released the same day.
