“Acquiesce” is a rocking tune that sees the Gallagher brothers share vocal duties. It has achieved classic status among Oasis' musical legacy despite a start to life as a mere B-side to “Some Might Say,” against the wishes of manager Alan McGee. However, in 1998 McGee got his wish fulfilled as the song became the lead single off of the B-side compilation album The Masterplan. In 2006, it was also included in the “Best Of” compilation, Stop The Clocks.
