“10,000 Degrees” is the fourth song off of the long-awaited I Want To Die In New Orleans, and marks a shift to a more buoyant track off of the more somber project.

Over a grainy and vintage resonance, Ruby slips into his Yung Plague persona and delivers a lyrically confounding verse. $crim raps about his psychopathic traits, insomnia, and drugs alongside the low-pitch guitar chords built around the sample.

The song’s title pays homage to the Juvenile’s album 400 Degreez and Lil Wayne’s album 500 Degreez. Both artists are New Orleans hip-hop legends, and both are huge influences on Ruby and $crim.
