“Beautiful People” alludes to the unreleased demo of the song with the same title. Written back in 2014 with old collaborator Justin Parker and registered in Late 2015, it’s believed to be an outtake of the “Big Eyes” recording sessions.

The song has a darker tone compared to the final released version, also it’s Del Rey’s original solo version before revamping the whole song and working on it with Stevie Nicks and longtime producer Rick Nowels.
