On “Up Now”, Saweetie links up with Rich the Kid and fellow Bay Area rapper G-Eazy to create a classic braggadocios rap track on their shared success, newfound wealth, and homage to where they came from.
After releasing the track on August 22nd, 2018, Saweetie released an accompanying music video on August 30th. The video draws on the song’s Bay Area vibes, with part of it being filmed in the Oakland Athletics'/Oakland Raiders' home stadium of Oakland Coliseum.
