‘Bare lad dem ligge’ (en. ‘Just let them lie there’ or ‘Let them be’) is the newest music video from this year’s album ‘Spira’ by the danish band First Flush. The video is shot and made in Iceland by Yoah Hindbo.
In this song, the listeners are faced with dreaming and hypnotizing guitars, hard drums and lyrics in Danish. The lyrics are about a singer lying in a dilemma, where he doesn’t know if he should act on his dreams or not. This emotional stalemate of being stretched out between dreams and thoughts during late midsummer nights might settle somewhere with the ‘Bare lad dem ligge’ – just let them be and let’s see what happens over time. This new single can therefore be seen in relation to the theme from the first single ‘Laisse-faire’ (fr. ‘letting things take their own course’).
