Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

Young Gunz

“Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” was nominated for a 2004 Grammy award for the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

The song became the biggest hit from the State Property collective, a group of Philadelphia artists, led by Beanie Sigel, who were signed to Roc-A-Fella Records.

The song sampled Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s “Superappin”. Can’t Stop’s infectious beat has become a staple at most NBA arenas. The song also samples Heavy D’s “Gyrlz, They Love Me,” off his Big Tyme album.
