A wildly braggadocios song created and released in the early stages of XXXTENTACION’s career, “DUTTY (Freestyle)” takes strong influence from the Pro Era collective, including Joey Bada$$.

“DUTTY (Freestyle)” was originally uploaded to X’s SoundCloud account on March 4, 2014, but was later deleted and was considered an extremely rare song. Twitter user (@mitchfek) who listened to X early on in his career had downloaded some of his lost/unreleased songs while they were out, one of which was “DUTTY (Freestyle)”; the song was officially re-released on April 10, 2014.
