“Couples Retreat” is the eighth track off of Jon Bellion’s sophomore album “Glory Sound Prep”. The song details a rocky relationship where the two people involved are both tense, with a lot on their minds/a lot to deal with, but ultimately find peace with each other, especially when they “say sorry with [their bodies]”.

The song is not super heavy/loud with the production, almost making it seem like a softer, slow-jam type song, which is fitting with the overall message of the song.

The track was not teased prior to the album’s release, unlike the three singles “Conversations with My Wife”, “JT”, and “Stupid Deep”. However, like with most of the other songs on the album, a snippet of the track was posted on Jon’s social media upon the release of the album.
