“Closer Still” examines James Cullen’s desperation to be with a person he loved before so deeply. Even though he has made mistakes with this person before, he wants to fix what has been broken between the two.

Being scared of letting someone down because, you could lose them. It’s not them that you worry about losing so much, but more the idea of them and not being able to replace or fill that void.
