“102” is an acoustic song that features in The 1975’s third album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, as a Japan Bonus Track for the record.

A fake quote has floated around the internet for a while, detailing the “102” in the song’s title to be about the time 1:02 a.m. when Healy and a romantic interest of his would meet each night, however, in May 2020, Healy announced this quote to be “fake” on his Reddit account, stating that instead, the “102” comes from the house number of Healy’s romantic interest.

“102” was first performed by Healy. He also stated in the same Reddit post that he wrote “102” when he was 15.

The song first saw the light of day through live performances which were uploaded to YouTube. In 2013, fans got a glimpse of the track with a video of an acoustic performance by Healy:
