The song is about a guy who is in love with a girl, but the girl doesn’t like him back. The girl is going out with a rich guy, who happens to be a jerk and possibly abusive. She doesn’t care though, as long as she can have money.

The guy wants her to realize that he is the guy that she is looking for, and not her rich boyfriend, but she has to forget about the money, which she isn’t willing to give up. She is ok with being with the rich jerk if she can have money.
