One of two new tracks on the 2019 restrospective album “Twenty,” this track could be about Eddie Reyes, a founding member of Taking Back Sunday, who left the band in 2018 after not participating in tours throughout 2017 and 2018. Eddie has admitted a major part of the reason he left TBS was due to his struggle with alcoholism. Based on many of the lyrics of this song, it seems likely the song is written about Eddie’s battle and departure from the band.
