“Island” is a triple collaboration between electronic producers Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta, featuring the vocals of underground project Nevve. On the track, Nevve captures the frustration of loving someone on an emotional “island”, while Seven Lions and Trivecta match their melodic production styles against Wooli’s signature bro-step and Riddim drops.
On November 30, 2018, the song was leaked by Trivecta on Google Play Music, but deleted less than a day later and officially released on January 4, 2019.
