The A State of Trance Year Mix 2018 is the 15th annual year end mix compilation for the A State of Trance Radioshow series, mixed by Dutch Trance DJ/Producer and radioshow host, Armin van Buuren.
The compilation upholds some of the most featured tracks that had played throughout the year 2018 in the said radioshow. This will be the 15th release for the A State of Trance Year Mix series following last year’s release of the same title.

The tracks that were featured in the year mix were based on the votes selected by weekly listeners of the A State of Trance Radioshow (which was also used to choose their high end track that became a favorite to all listeners, and to be known as the Tune of the Year for 2018), and features over a hundred solid records from some of the world’s most esteemed Trance artists, including Giuseppe Ottaviani’s Till The Sunrise, Richard Durand’s The Air I Breathe, NWYR’s Wormhole and Dragon, Above & Beyond’s Red Rocks and Armin van Buuren’s United, Blah Blah Blah, Just As You Are and The Last Dancer.

In Episode 896 of ASOT, it premiered it’s first video mix along with the year mix comtaining some of the most meorable moments van Buuren has ever done throughout the whole year, which includes the tours he attended and his highlights behind the scenes, and outside the stage. It will be the first year mix that has the video mix accompaniment.

The compilation was released last December 14, 2018 through Armada Music.
