“22” is the fourth out of a total of five international releases from Lily Allen’s second studio album “It’s Not Me, It’s You” and peaked at number 14 in the UK singles chart.

The track features the story of a specific women Lily knew reaching the end of her youth and closing in on thirty having not decided what they wanted to achieve or where they wanted to be. However Lily admits the lyrics are more general.

The accompanying music video shows a self-reflecting Lily Allen staring at her past self in the bathroom mirror of a nightclub. The same location is used for the bathroom scene in Lily’s accompanying video to 2018 single “Trigger Bang”.
