In this scene we see Ted running away from Paul and Emma, he finds the military and praise them for saving him. Before he can say another word General McNamara walks in and shoots Ted in the head. General McNamara (who is now been infected by the singing aliens) infected Ted, who then also turns into an alien. through out the song we see Paul and Emma trying to get to the rendezvous point while the infected military and Ted march and sing to protect their only escape for Hatchetfield.
