Always

Always

Bon Jovi

“Always” is a power ballad by Bon Jovi. It is the opening track of the first greatest hits album Cross road, which was released in October 1994.

This song was originally meant to be the soundtrack for the 1993 film “Romeo Is Bleeding”, but the band decided not lend the song for the movie after having some distaste. Although the movie failed, Always left a high record on the international music chart, topping 5 of those.

This song seems to be influenced from “Romeo and Juliet” by Dire Straits and “Romeo Is Bleeding” by Tom Waits.
