CHUN

Face-to-face with a common enemy, CHUN must decide whether to fight him, or forgive him for his wrongdoing. In the opening minute, CHUN makes it clear that he will not give in to any of his oppressor’s taunting. But throughout the first verse, CHUN contradicts his own message, and seeks vengeance against his foe. In the second verse, CHUN realizes he’s become like his enemy, and once again reassures he will forgive all people that have ever hurt him. The goal is to teach listeners that forgiveness is more powerful than revenge, regardless of the adversary’s response. It also displays how we often contradict ourselves in an argument (I’m right, he’s wrong, this is what really happened).
